Facility Access to EC-Online™

EC-Online is the healthcare industry’s first and foremost web-based, subscription service devoted to the management of the Physical Environment of healthcare organizations.  EC-Online has been developed to assist facilities management professionals in addressing the myriad of regulatory, code and standards issues which challenge them daily. The components of EC-Online are as follows:

“Ask the EC Expert”

This component is the vehicle by which you can ask our recognized experts any question related to your activities of managing the Environment of Care, Emergency Management and Life Safety. This is where you can ask questions which stem from The Joint Commission®, OSHA, NFPA®, EPA, and CMS standards. If we don’t have the answer within reach, we’ll research the topic and have the answer back to you, usually within one business day. If your question is difficult to pose in the narrative form, please feel free to call us at 877-577-6550.

The Library is exactly that – a significant collection of resource materials oriented to your Physical Environment.

The Library is made up of several sections:

Fees & Expenses

The price for a complete subscription to EC-Online is $945 per year. If you represent a group, network, or another affiliation of institutions, please contact our support line info@safemgt.com so that we may provide you a price quote which offers you multi-facility discounting.

User Information
Note: each EC-Online subscription entitles the facility to 4 users – 1 Master User and 3 Standard Users. The “Master User” is SMS, Inc.’s contact person for billing, assigning of usernames, passwords, etc. The Master User will have control of who at each respective facility has access to EC-Online and will be responsible for adding/deleting new standard users.
